Step one

Add the ingredients together in a saucepan and mix until all is dissolved in the water (it is okay if some of the sodium alginate has not completely dissolved).

Step two

Put the pan on the stovetop, heat and stir the mixture until it is almost boiling or boiling (depending if you want bubbles in the outcome) and then remove it from the heat.

Step three

Pour liquid into tray/ mould and leave to dry for 1-2 days (depending on the temperature and humidity of the surroundings).
