Materiom selected for Google.org's Accelerator: Generative AI

A new generation of materials innovators is replacing conventional plastics with bio-based alternatives. Materiom supports these innovators by providing foundational knowledge that lowers barriers to entry, and targeted tools that accelerate the pace of progress.

Materiom today announced the launch of Materiom AI — a generative AI chatbot that assists users with discovery of biopolymers, ingredients, and additives for bio-based material development.

Material developers are producing novel bio-based stretch fibers from alfalfa, silkworm proteins, and even discarded milk. The challenge is progressing these innovations from the lab to industrial scale.
